Sugar Syrup with Saffron

Ingredients: 

1 cup of sugar 

1/2 water 

1 tsp lemon 

pinch of Saffron 

2 tbsp of rose wate

Directions:

  • On a high heat incorporate all the ingredients and stir well to combine.
  • Bring to boil then reduce the heat to medium or medium-low.
  • Cook for about 10-14 minutes until it thicken.
  • Test the consistency by dropping a little drop in a small plate let cool for few seconds.
  • Let cool off then serve with a dessert dish.
  • Store in refrigerator for a 10 days.
