Sesame Cookies Covered with Chocolate & Rose Petals

  • In electric mixer, whisk the soft better with both sugar until it become creamy. Add the egg and whisk then add the vanilla extract and the baking soda mix to combine.
  • Add the flour and sesame seeds and mix using wooden spoon or spatula. Chill in the fridge for an hour.
  • Using a tablespoon as a measurement tool, make balls then flat them with your palm. For a nice design use potato masher with small holes. In preheated oven at 163°C / 325°F, bake for about 10-12 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate in double boiler until it reaches 90°F, stir the chocolate until the temperature drop between 60-70°F. Dip one side of the cookies, sparkle with rose petals and let them solidify at the room temperature.
  • Finally, mix the powder sugar with water mix until it spreadable add more water if needed. Transfer the sugar frosting into frosting bag. Cut the tip of the frosting bag, then drizzle the sugar frosting on the cookies. Let dry for few minutes then serve!
